With little ever much questioned, what can they answer – and be – but what they inherited? And their “inheritance” often only vaguely answers questions.

They argue politics, but in reality disagree about God.

Peaceful and actually communicative arguments – not to suppose conversations – about “politics” or similar “middle” shared elements of life and world are nearly impossible, however normally and commonly attempted, for real understanding between persons who do not share their views of world, man, society, and most of all “God”.

For their views of “politics” are middle positions based on higher and deeper elements of their positions.

Nineteenth-century American Transcendentalists were not confronted with the Evils of our Twentieth Century. And they cannot help us to understand this.

Those human social-psychic depths in which mich individual and collective acts – good, evil, admixtures, indifferent – are done, and by way of which they may be understood, are on deeper levels than most attempts at reasoning.
