Are all of the philosophies, religions, theologies,… in essence in reality Man searching outwardly for his Self? 😳

If one knew fully well all that in one’s life not new under the sun…would one succumb to ennui or Weltschmertz?

Knowing as few do that “news” is the plural of “new”, when one reads ones personal insights recorded in eg 1865… such does give some circumspection and insight as to the new and old in the passions of one’s current day, life and world.

Most of these dropped Notes will be neither nearly comprehensible nor useful to most I know.

“History” is not “outside” us, though much of it happens there. And the deepest “history” occurs – or not – in insights.
