Needed: A history of those who in History woke up to the fact that most of the people around them were asleep.

Including those who wondered about a history of those who were not asleep, but intellectually awake (in one way or context or other.)

Fifty-nine years ago this evening… and I escaped its impact for the first time for about 5 minutes this afternoon.

Most adults would be offended to be told how asleep they are.

(I myself am too polite to say.)

Let us have Christian compassion for those incapable of discerning that they are so obviously being conned.

A six-part documentary claimed to have historically-accurate drama, presents Alexander the Great ahistorically misusing the assumptions and psychology of our time to “present” his. Even the academic interviewees seemed either not to notice, or not to be embarrassed.

The emperor had no clothes, however willfully blind his followers were and are… but the worst is perhaps that he is so embarrassing.

However understandable and necessary words of, thoughts about, and prayers to “God” are, those which have not gone through the “death of God”, a kind of Nietzschean bath, are out of the time of höHistory.

Dostoyevsky’s “Grand Inquisitor” would sympathize, as more realistically would pastors and ministers… But those theologies, which are not “postmortem dei” are naïve in a mature time.

While there are certainly a great differences between the glories and the trivials of this world… what in deeper facts are any lasting differences?

Physiognomy teveals mentality.

Is the degree of insight, independence of person, and intelligence level of tens of millions of Americans.
