Rather than finding the World in their selves, many tend to find their selves in the World. Especially “Jungians”.
Aka: solipsism. But “individualism” and “politeness” allows such a mass motley to be less clear, noted, and troubling.

How many or few live lives to find “the great books” biographical comparisons, companions and/or guides?

Peak experiences?

While there are peaks in and of experience, most lives are lived in the valleys, if at times in the foothills. Aside from the fact that many people don’t like heights.
And for moderate example Goethe said we must return to the valleys for our normal lives. But Goethe was not as Faustian as Faust in his Faust.

8:27am May 9, 2023Two conventional were unable to even utter standard exclamations upon seeing this dramatic photo; in my estimation because it was, and is, too above and beyond their common lives, experiences, emotions, thoughts,…. Yet in their silence they were realistic.
