What did you do with your self before you died?

In any major “tourist destination” once sees physically embodied on the crowded streets the psychology of the crowd(ed). Walk one block or two from the main ways, and you can be almost alone. Their outside, like their inside.

In essence, they are not actually sure why they are there,… what they are supposed to be doing, experiencing,… so they follow everyone else.

The essential problem in not “learning from history”, from the past, seems less that the day is so bright, wide, and all embracing, as that in the main man does not seem to have the requisite will to awaken sufficiently in it.

The state of mind in which most do not realize they live.

The main problem with a broader recognition of the mass is that so many are inside it?

Those who (assume it right to) think and intend and write with the prime goal of factuality, seem seldom to recognize that they bring death (and dearth) rather than life to man.

A barely conscious broad acceptance of Luther’s view of faith….

“Philosophy of History” is in reality a philosophy of Man.

History is in reality so little just facts, that when one goes more deeply into it, one plunges into the deepest questions of the human and meaning in time.

In their depths, history and biography are so interwoven as to be essentially inseparable.

Though few know it or their selves well enough to recognize this.
