It is the stories, not the stones…

In order to realistically assess the mentalities of society around one, its actual possibilities and facts, it is useful to study other societies and periods in history, in order to truthfully understand one’s own.

Death and Suffering are more Gods of Meaning, Judgment, and Social Morality in this world than “God”, “Sin” and “Hell”.

Millions still believe the historic lies of these tiny people.

The question of God is in reality a question of Man.

When one surpasses the accepted, inherited answers, and then moves on in quest-ion.

Having determined in the winter of 74-75 that I would “catch history*”, in religion, philosophy and history itself… Now verging on five decades since, I recognize that I was in a way captive to history, and now having caught up with it, at least in its main ideas, I am freed from it. Or at least it as a burden of task.

*by going into the past, and finding the oldest roots of ideas, and then tracing them forward through time, which took decades,…, finally I’ve caught up with the main ideas as they live now in time.

Is there any human activity, however noble, that cannot be poisoned by the “profit motive”?
