“Philosophy of History” is in reality a philosophy of Man.

History is in reality so little just facts, that when one goes more deeply into it, one plunges into the deepest questions of the human and meaning in time.

In their depths, history and biography are so interwoven as to be essentially inseparable.

Though few know it or their selves well enough to recognize this.

It is probably true that ignorance of Mankind is worse than ignorance of History.

And if not what the British might call a “bloody ignorance”… an ignorance that leads to blood.

Who needs true facts, when you have shared attitudes, interpretations, opinions, emotions,…?

an other’s national mass aesthetics. Like outside, so inside. Physically and psychically.

Less important than ones physical geographic location, is the invisible, social and psychological world in which one lives. So a kind of social psychography.

Those “individuals” whose inner and outer life is predominated by their born social group, share emotions and thoughts in a group psychology.

As I have written before, it is perhaps more accurate to say that emotions and thoughts have them, than that (those “individuals” which constitute the) they have emotions and thoughts.

Passive, received being. Even adults as children.

This social factor is so pervasive that it is little recognized. One reason being that it is not very “complementary!”.
