Another of many neologisms I have over many years needed conceive. This one in an attempt to describe the character of the coming President-elect’s “White House”.

A malessent* White House.

*None of the 20+ extant words with the preface mal- has the necessary meaning.

Henry David Thoreau spent most of his life searching Nature where Man is not to be found.

Somewhat more than half of the American population has revealed themselves to be unfit to judge the unfitness of an individual for the presidency.

I will hold by this no matter how many people disagree. Fact.

Many blame politic(ian)s for realities of economics. I.e. capitalism. 

With the reelection of Donald Trump, the position and reputation of America in the world is now unalterably lessened.

The most powerful social force, and the fear of it, is death.

The USA is now no longer the leader of the democratic and free world.

And while many who voted for Trump were gullible to his lies, and even if there is no “mandate”, it does seem to me a realistic revelation of average, if lower, American mentality.

As Heather Cox Richardson said this afternoon (November 12, 2024) the election of Trump reveals that
“The USA has abdicated its role as a leader in world affairs. It is no longer going to try to protect democracies, it is no longer going to try to protect human rights. We gave that up. And that is the beginning of a new era in world politics.”
