History, psychology, social studies, self reflection show that “they are evil, we are good” is superficial and false. Many of the murderous terrors and wars throughout history are inflamed by this unrealistic simplistic opposition.
It is a popular opposition. And clearly many leaders don’t know better, either on a sociopolitical or individual-psychological level.
False demonizations.
History and social psychology are useless when they are so shallowly “known”.
