Vulgarization
The vulgar*can attempt to degrade everything to themselves, whether they call themselves Christian or other.
Eg

*late 14c., “common, ordinary,” from Latin vulgaris, volgaris “of or pertaining to the common people, common, vulgar, low, mean,” from vulgus, volgus “the common people, multitude, crowd, throng”. The meaning “coarse, low, ill-bred” is recorded by 1640s, probably from earlier use (with reference to people) in the meaning “belonging to the ordinary class” (1520s).

Quantification
The worldwide beliefs and/or assumptions that “millions” and “billions” are a worthy accomplishment, identity of human being reveal the exteriorization of the idea of Man. Quantity over quality. Numbers over character. Matters over Spirit. External over internal life.

Bibled
Listening to local “Christian” radio: Those not awake enough to have ever escaped from one inherited old “good book”.
-
Outside Philosophy
One could certainly compare the literary/intellectual concept of an “outsider” to a philosopher. But considering current philosophy and philosophers, at least the former has the seriousness of being antisocial.

Legendary “home cave” of legendary Pythagoras, who created the word “philosophy”.
