Those in whom ignorance is so vast, so deep, so complete, so omnipersonal, that they have essentially no even sense how limited what they believe is.

As if they have lived their entire mind life in a fog, and don’t know that there are objects – ideas, stories, traditions (of also their own beliefs) – elsewhere clear, and often different. s

But since most others they know live in the same fog…

Can it be they still have not heard that God is dead and that they killed him themselves?

Yes, indeed!

The human constitution can undermine any well-conceived, -structured polity’s constitution.

Those true herd are the last to self know it. 

A feloniously convicted former reelected president nominated for US Attorney General, a man (Gaetz) now exposed of the lowest morality, that individual having brought down for the first time in American history a former speaker of the house (McCarthy), who himself had the honesty and political positions of a windvane.

How – better why? – to converse with someone who misimagines their opinions are their own.

Surrounded by those borne by unawares History, in literature trivial, of Philosophy ignorant, “their” Religion’s beliefs naïve and passive… generally asleep, adream… Is it not ‘as if Greek amid barbarians’?

But for the absence of an extra sense, the stars might not seem so distant, and useless.

The strong gusting wind is more real than many people I know.
