To be wise is possible, though few consciously strive for such a goal.

When does not normally daily live in relation to death.

A man of no gravitas – for  a very grave and serious position in the world.

Some personalities seem to require opposition, to oppose, even in situations where they are obviously wrong. Or perhaps they are just extra stupid.

So many have died in this war that it would betray the meaning of their deaths if more did not die in order to affirm it.
