The US Senate has cowered, with self-easing rationalizations, to the power of fear of the Trump Maga party.

It seems now that, similar to 1933 in Germany, there is a coordinated extra-constitutional attempt to take over the US government.

To HCR: in my own opinion, now, things have to get really bad, in order for a US “constitutional/legal” crisis to occur, forcing people in positions of power, federally, and in states, and in the general public, to take sides.
What kind of United States of America do we want to be?

Crisis! because now the tens of millions who voted for Trump must have their minds changed by events of great danger to the USA, at least as “great” as the importance of the election of a US President. Even one who should be in prison. Rather, especially one that should be in prison.

Constitutionalists versus Trumpists?
Is that the question, related to all sectors of the federal and state governments, which will be decisive as to the structural and legal continuance of the “USA”, in a kind of legal-authority civil war?
Project 2025 versus the US Constitution?

It is surprising that Merrick Garland has not received – deservedly in my view – greater publuc critique/blame, if not condemnation, for not bringing Trump to trial in four years. Of course he has good “excuse”. “Good” as his own historically-failed reasons.

Compare the events and consequences of the Battle of Milvian Bridge in Rome, 312, to the Battle of the North Bridge, 1775, Concord, Massachusetts.

But it is impolite to tell people how asleep they are.

Those who know nothing around them “objectively”, tend to view everything subjectively..
