How few escape patterns to make a biography worthwhile.

Having followed the social pattern of leaving home, I soon left that pattern gropingly; and while I was not searching for a “Holy Grail”, by this time five decades ago, I was more than one-half year into my long-term desperate and determined search to “catch history” by starting at its beginnings.
