All activities of the US president  must be viewed in relation to the fact that he is intellectually and morally unfit to be president.

A man incapable of staying on the “high road”. An absolute buffoonish embarrassment of the USA to the world. 

The President of the United States is sufficiently undisturbed by reality that he can easily deny any past, current, and/or future unpleasant (or illegal) facts about himself and his administration.

Lies, distortions, fabrications, fantasies,, falsifications,… the man seems to be incapable of speaking realistically and truthfully.

The world does not (often) need to pretend that he is not talking nonsense.

Academia is not intelligentsia, and for major example the USA is worse for it.

Though the mass of Americans would neither recognize, accept, nor embrace such. One book orienting and satisfying most of their lives.

Those living inside inherited religious beliefs asleep to existential questions.

That they voted for Trump is just an aspect of their deep social sleep.

Said sincerely by those who have not awoken from their inherited intellectual childhood.

It is difficult to be intelligent around stupid people.
