How much of only 40 years of history had to be unknown for us postwar children to live such innocent happy lives?

We were a postwar generation that didn’t know it. The majority I know don’t know it now.

Even the deepest insights may not have found solutions.

Deep insights can demand decades.

The misassumption that “E/evil” requires malevolence, has lead and leads to great misunderstandings of Evil, Death and Destruction in history.

Gates has a realistic, worldly, fully immanential, pragmatic idea and ideal of good.

This man seems to have about as deep an understanding of malevolence in human nature and history as Zuckerberg did at the start of Facebook.

Whether one is satisfied, dismayed, happy, perplexed,…with a day, in part certainly depends on just what are one’s expectations of and in it.

Perhaps more realistically relevant than one’s philosophy of life.

Is there a time outside that which our body gives us?

We are too often polite in life to live it. Even to live in it.
