As I wrote to Chief Justice Roberts, he certainly understood when he swore Donald Trump in for the second time that the man was morally and intellectually unfit to be President. And that he, Roberts, by delaying the January 6 case, had in part allowed Trump to become President again. But the human being can rationalize everything, and perhaps Roberts was unreflective of his essential contribution to the doom of the second Trump Presidency.
