naTO?

Assuming that US presence in NATO is now in jeopardy, again, at the whim of a president unfit for office, but popular among enough Americans who were stupid and provincial enough… I am assuming that Europe will necessarily form its own unit. Will the first two letters of NATO no longer have meaning within a year or two?
