The dominant atmosphere of fundamentally hopeless Sin, requiring deadly sacrifice – and not by Man but by the “Son of God” – which pervades many Catholic churches in Rome, does it not stultify, sicken the human soul? The world and Mankind’s Story being a kind of Malaise.
