The title itself describes clearly enough the condition, the plight, the quest… Nietzsche’s madman, after preaching in the churches, recognized his time had not yet come. For perhaps the vast majority of “Christians” in America, Nietzsche and his madman are still far distant in time, space and mind.
Yet a postmortem dei quest beyond the traditions of ideas and understandings of Nature, Creation, History, Man, Church,… is a challenge to some, and perhaps a necessary seeking, to others.
