In any major “tourist destination” once sees physically embodied on the crowded streets the psychology of the crowd(ed). Walk one block or two from the main ways, and you can be almost alone. Their outside, like their inside.

In essence, they are not actually sure why they are there,… what they are supposed to be doing, experiencing,… so they follow everyone else.
